Fall 2016 Newsletter - Powerful Women and Russian Hackers
Happy Fall! I recently photographed the Washington Ideas Forum here in DC, making portraits with everyone from Secretary of State John Kerry to rockstar chef David Chang.
Follow along on my Instagram to see more of these which I'll be posting over the next few weeks.
I also photographed the head of the IMF, Christine Lagarde for a cover story in Institutional Investor. She was one of the more fascinating and engaging subjects I've had recently.
One last shoot from a few weeks back - cybersecurity expert Dmitri Alperovitch, for TIME. Alperovitch was the first to link the DNC hacks with Russia and made for an interesting subject.
Last week, I had a great, albeit brief, trip up to NYC to meet some editors and show a new portfolio. If you'd like a peek at the online version of my new portfolio, drop me a line.
Lastly, I'm thrilled that my book, In Training, was selected as one of the Featured Reviews by Kirkus. They wrote, "Clearly, the author achieves his goal of conveying, in his words, 'their grace in the passage of time, their peace and the invitation they extend to include oneself in the natural order of things.' An impressive work not only for botany enthusiasts and students of Japanese culture, but for all lovers of striking photography as well." Full review here.
Hope you're having a great start to Fall and look for a new postcard from me soon!
